Hello Backers,
We hope everyone has been enjoying their holiday season so far. Our small but mighty team have been hard at work assembling the small packs and testing them to ensure that they are ready to go.
The first 50 packs have been assembled and put through the first phase of quality control and passed with flying colors.
Next week, we are putting each pack through a second phase of testing, which includes significant human testing such as smoothness of operation during walking, running, tensioning and locking. We are on track to have another 50 packs assembled and ready for phase one testing by the Christmas holiday.
Next week, we are filming a “how-to” video to walk backers through their first time use of the backpack to make it as easy to set-up and use as possible. We anticipate it being edited and ready by early January and we will then start shipping out the packs. We will post here as soon as the first packs have shipped.
Once the small packs have shipped, we will focus on the large packs.

Hello,
We have sent out the BackerKit surveys and 2/3 of people have replied. If you haven’t received yours yet, please check your spam folder or go here to retrieve your survey. If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your Indiegogo account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact support.
We also wanted to give you a quick update on the small packs. We have added Quality Assurance into the manufacturing process to ensure that each pack works the way it’s expected to. We have noticed a small percentage of packs not moving as well as they need to, so we have turned our attention to making sure they perform as expected. This may push the start of delivery a few weeks, however, we do not want to send out anything that we aren’t proud of and that you may not be happy with.
We will be sure to update you as soon as we start to send out the first wave of packs.

We wanted to give you an update on the BackerKit surveys. There have been some technical issues on the backend that we are ironing out, so emails haven't gone out yet.

Hello backers,
We wanted to give you a quick update as get closer to shipping out!
Assembly
We have already started the assembly process. A few days ago, we filmed this video to give you a behind-the-scenes update.
BackerKit Surveys
We did our first “smoke” test to 5% of the backers to make sure everything worked perfectly. The test went well, so we are starting to send them out. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your needs. We will close the survey October 31st so we can start shipping the small packs!
You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!
After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts. If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page.

Wanted to give everyone a quick update. We are still waiting on one last component to arrive at our production studio. Also, the bags have arrived in the United States, however, are being held up at customs at the moment. Hopefully, they will pass through as quickly as possible.
We have already started assembling the parts that are able to be built so that once the final components arrive, we can finish the packs off quickly!
Also, we have submitted the survey to BackerKit for their final review and anticipate sending out the surveys this week. We will post an update as soon as they go out to make sure you know when to start checking your inbox.
